I know K&N makes good filters and I definately do not want to drop +200 on a full K&N intake. And why should I if I can do it cheaper? This cost me like $50 for the K&N, breather filter, and adapter(made it out of a short piece of PVC).
I plan on having a tube made(Or making one of my own) to replace the stock one eventually. Even after that I expect little more than $70 for the entire thing. I think that would be tough to beat.
As for the legality Im pretty sure Im good. Just the way it was worded on the box made me think it might not be entirely legal. |
