Does the image look a little blurry now? This is due to a poor resampling when the image is resized. There are many ways to resize an image, but depending how much you reduce or enlarge it and what resampling method you use, you may not be happy with the results. I don't know what you or your wife used to resize the photos before you uploaded. Photoshop is what I am familiar with and have had very good results with the "Bicubic Sharper" resampling method, although, I would suspect that any "Bicubic" method would do you well. Confusing, I know... welcome to the world of imaging... cross your fingers you never get into printing!
