Looks great but I'm not willing to sell my arm and leg to get it. OUCH! There are many things I WISH I could do but being a single father raising two boys only being able to work part time and only receiving $30 a week support I can only droll at the things you guys do. Version 2 looks real custom, because version 1 to someone that doesn't know jack about Magnums won't even notice it's a custom spoiler.
Version 2 should be made for a big group buy, I'm sure you'll have a lot of buyers for that one (including me) At least somebody is making it for real, remember all the empty promises from others saying they would have a custom spoiler and ended up just vanishing! BTW: If you guys want version 1 now and you claim it's out of your means, use you $600 rebate check to pay for it, at least it will support an american company and not the chinese economy, because if you spend your rebate check buying stuff at WalMart and such that's where the money will go (China), since they make all the stuff we buy. I couldn't agree more with everyones comments on the awesomeness of the work you do Big Ern. I'm just sad that I missed it that day I came down to your shop and you were driving away from me with the proto type to take pictures.
So keep up the good work Ernie and don't go throwing that mold away I may need it in the future.(stupid wedding) ![]() |

As much as I wish I could do a GB on these I can't. Each spoiler is made by hand and they require alot of labor to produce. In the beginning I approached several companies that produce these type of things and they all wanted 10K to do the development and the mold for the product. That price didn't include any spoilers btw, that was just to make the molds. I felt that was just too much money to spend on a niche item that I'll be lucky to sell 50 of. The things I do GB's on are items that get direct shipped from a warehouse to you, with no labor on my part. Consider each of these a custom "one offs", because its unlikely that you'll see many of them in your local area.
V2 spoiler should be test mounted on the car by the end of today. My plan is to attach streamers to the back window and video their movement while the car is at highway speeds. |

I saw the other spoiler here: New from 402 Motoring. The miraculous Dodge Magnum "SSII Spoiler"You asked you got. - LX Forums Modern Mopar Muscle
Can't wait to see one painted with functioning brake lights. You say you'll be lucky to sell 50 of those, trust me, you'll sell hundreds of them within 6 months, especially if you advertise on E-bay also to spread the word. Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to make if you were to take the stock spoiler from the customer and just add on the extension (v.1 or v.2), then paint it an add the LED brake lights?, instead of having to fabricate the whole thing, that way, you wouldn't have to worry about fitment issues with the attachment holes and screws...
