Thanks a lot - I know this is where I want to be and where I want to go. I was an EMT for 4 years with a hospital in Georgia, 3 years as a medic in the Army attached with the sniper corps and air assault attached to the 82nd. Ended up seeing and doing a few things and pulled a couple of tours before I got out.
I wanted to go into nursing when I joined the Army but my ASFAB score was pretty high and they talked me into other things. I should have stuck to my guns but must say that working as a Sniper, medic and getting air assault qualified was a good life.
I'm trying to transfer my certification for EMT from Georgia to Florida but it's difficult as Florida doesn't want to accept any transfers. I'll keep trying and will start RN school in August no matter what. My goal is to get my RN degree and go to work for Life Flight as that will fall right in with what I did in the Army.
Thanks for the offer and I will be calling on your help for sure.
Regards to all,
