Wow those ballasts are small, makes for easier installation! If I decide to change out my current HIDs I would definitely go with these.

Question: I want to do HID's but I don't want to give up my option to use my automatic light feature. Can I still install these?

If your lights currently come on automatically they will still come on automatically... just in HID
