Were is the Factory Amp for the mids in a SRT?
Hey dose any one know were the factory amp is for the mids I have the Kicker system and I need to see if the amp is overheating. And also need to know if any one here has upgraded there amp? Im doing the Carputer and trying to figger out how to get audio out of the pc from the soundcard. Any info would be GREAT!

Im not 100% but I think its up behind the dash on the drivers side...

I will check there, also what do I need to put in a aftermarket amp??

Are you using the factory head unit? If so, Im really not sure...

Nope I have the Kenwood 8019, but I do want to do the Carpc system from like VroomPC or somthing like that

It' should be right under the steering column.

All you need is a preamp module. For the best results go with 2 4-channel preamps (if you are running all speakers to the amp). These would includ, the dash speakers, front door speakers, rear speakers, and sub. The factor amp is the silver box, located behind the steering wheel, just above the computer adapter.

What do I need to buy to put in a aftermarket amp inplace of my factory one for the mids? I have a 4 CH. Planet audio do I need more Ch? were do I buy like a wireing harness to convert my factory wireing over to the new amp?
