Budget Rear Seat monitor suggestions
Looking for some cheap way to get some monitors in the back seat for the kids. Can be premade headrests with screens or just add on monitors with brackets that attach to the headrest. I'm not looking for show, just function.
Wanted to know if anyone had some off brand stuff that they liked and thought was worth it. Just need monitors not all in dvd player stuff. The MyGig will be providing the video duties. |

If you are looking for the cheaper option, we bought my mom the Phillips portable dual screen dvd player from Target. They were about $200. She loves to watch our son once per week overnight and these have served her well for her local road trips with him.

I was just looking for monitors, not ones that have DVD players. I have a MyGig installed and I can feed the monitors with that... then I also control volume, what's playing, etc. As far as Pyle and Pyramid... I had good luck with both of them 20 years ago for cheap amps and speakers. I think I'll try their add on monitors or universal headrests unless someone says they are truely craptastic. |
