Radio Bezel
Okay, so I dont actually need the bezel but I need the plastic insert/adapter with the mickey mouse ears so I can throw a head unit into my R/T. I have a Kenwood at my house that has just been sitting and would like to be able to plug my iPhone into it so I dont have to keep flipping through CDs and such. Also I guess I'll need a harness. Any websites will help or if someone wants to cough it up....lol

Yeah, I plan on it....Im just at work thinking about what I want to do and since I just have this radio sitting around the house, I figure I would see what I need.
Also, do I need an antenna adapter? |

I was just looking and I would have to either give up my steering wheel controls or buy a $75 kit...anyone know how to bypass this? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to be able to enjoy music.

The steering wheel controls are wireless, so you'll need a wireless receiver for them....either that PAC kit or the HUD must have the capability built-in.

I have a back up kit but i am working on molding my primary to the radio bezel currently and keeping my other one for backup.
The controls are wireless and require the PAC receive and i believe a CANBUS adapter similar to the one needed for the stereos (Metra Axxes xsvi-6502). You might be able to hook the power needed for the controls straight into a 12v+ With a cheaper kit but i would double check on it. I can give you my extra "ear flap" once i am done with it but i will be a couple of days atleast. |
