i tapped into the left rear speaker with mine

maybe that post should get stuck (hint hint mods) lol

i tapped into both left and right for mine..remember even though your sub amp is mono it does need a stereo input of left and right usually the amp will combine the two for the mono output only using one your gona loose a lot...

i may go in later and tap the right side also but so far i have no problems lol

take it from a audio engineer most bass is straight up the middle... but there have been time I have had it off to one side....
