IPHONE hookup?????? need info

OK I called down to my local shops here in longview, and asked what we could do as far as hooking my iphone up to my stereo. They said there was nothing made for the car! Several shops said this. IDK what to do! I have a 2005 Maggie R/T with Nav, I know they make something. I have an FM transmitter but it sucks. I want to plug my phone in directly to my radio. Please can someone help me out?

if you have the aux input on your headunit you can connect it there with the 3.5mm (almost positive on that size) cable. Its the same as a connecting an iPod..... no?

I dont have an aux on the dash, im not sure if I have one on the back side of my nav unit or not. The guys that i talked to a several shops said that it didnt have an aux in the back. im sure its a 3.5mm and yes its the same as an ipod.

I am not exactly sure on what the rear of the Nav will have. You might have aux in the rear (to confirm ipod is 3.5mm and thats the standard size).

Or some other type of connection. I would pull it out and check but you will probably not have one........

I Got An Iphone 3g And An Aftermarket Eclipse In Dash Nav Unit And It Works Fine But It Wont Charge!! It Charged My Ole One But Not My New One!!! Dam Apple Is Tryna Isolate Itself Form Everyone!

what if you check with Dodge or take out the HU and see if you have a data port back there. If you do you should be able to get the appropriate cable from Apple or Radioshack. worth the try

This is the product. I've already contacted them and it works with the iPhone. Mine is a 1st Generation so I'm not sure if there is a difference with the 3G version.

The phone will come up with a "airplane mode" alert, but you just decline and it works.
