Replacing 05er NavRadio vs newer Touchscreen Model possible?

Hello my Name is Michael and i´m Living in Germany and bought a few weeks ago a 2005er Dodge Magnum R/T.

Now i have a "small Problem"

I have a older Orginal Radio with US NAV (6er CD Changer inside) without Touchscreen. And i can´t use it a Monitor for DVD etc.

Now i want to upgrade it with a Touchscreen Modell without NAV.
Then i want install a Rearcamera too if needed with this Lockpick adapter too.

Is it possible to change it and if yes which Parts i have to buy?

Sry for this stupid Questions and my bad english knowledge but here in Germany noone can help with my Problem

Welcome to the site..

As for your question.. i know you can change it out to a touchscreen and have the rear camera, but i'm unsure of the models and parts you need.. Someone will chime in on this..

I got a answer from nav-tv.com today about this. And it seem´s i can´t replace it with a MyGig system because the vehicle bis isn´t compatible with mygig.

So now i need suggestion for another model i can use in this slot.
I need a model with touchscreen/USB and must play Vidz. If possible optional rearcamera.

Anyone have suggestions or did install it already? i have no favorite Manufactors. It must simply working (and the functions at steering wheel too

).

Yes you can use the MYGIG in your 05 Magnum, I personally made a harness so this can be done, another member on here who bought the MYGIG from me (UNHOLY) will chime in very soon on this, with the mygig you can have the rearcam, I dont have it on mine because I dont feel a need for it, if you look in the forsale section on here, I have a MYGIG W/Nav for sale, if you interested pm me and I'll hook you up with a fully working MYGIG for your magnum

MagnumMan (Devon) speaks the truth. He has a great deal on a RER right now and he can make a harness so it will work on your car. The only thing that will not work is the clock. If you want to open the mygig up for video in motion and add aditional outputs to power other monitors, aftermarket rear cams and etc, look up the mygig lockpick adapter. It's similar to the navtogo item but allows straight plug in to your older LX.

I love my mygig I got from Devon and as long as you are capable of installing everything yourself, the mygig is cheaper than most aftermarket solutions even including the lockpick.

Thx for the offer but with the taxes and fees in Germany it´s more then 800$ then. And i don´t need an US NAV in Germany (the installed one is a US NAV too btw). My next Multimedia is without NAV or with a EU NAV.

I´m chcking atm the German Ebay site and some 300c Forum´s for a EU MyGig.
