How exactly does that work? In my Mustang all I did was leave the wires that were going to the factory amp unpluged(cut) and used the speaker wires only. This way i was able to use the speakers and use an after market H.U. I really don't want to use the stock H.U. and have to tap into the speakers and use the hi output connections instead of the rca output on my amp. Do you think this is possible on the Mag?
I have the same problem in my Magnum RT. I got a PAC I think and also another harness that sends info from the steering wheel to the Navy (AVICD2). Every once and a while they trip off and all I hear is my subs. SO, I have to pull my bezel out and dis- and re- connect both harnesses until the audio cuts back in. It's a real pain and I'd like to know how to fix it as well. Anyone have any ideas?
Well I used a PAC and tapped into the L rear speaker the two negs to neg and the two pos to the pos of course and hooked my rca cables from my after market sub amp and voila! no problems
