How exactly does that work? In my Mustang all I did was leave the wires that were going to the factory amp unpluged(cut) and used the speaker wires only. This way i was able to use the speakers and use an after market H.U. I really don't want to use the stock H.U. and have to tap into the speakers and use the hi output connections instead of the rca output on my amp. Do you think this is possible on the Mag?

Aftermarket Navy Install

I have the same problem in my Magnum RT. I got a PAC I think and also another harness that sends info from the steering wheel to the Navy (AVICD2). Every once and a while they trip off and all I hear is my subs. SO, I have to pull my bezel out and dis- and re- connect both harnesses until the audio cuts back in. It's a real pain and I'd like to know how to fix it as well. Anyone have any ideas?

ps, If you bypass the amp you can't use the amp (me thinks).

moonstreaker is just warmin' up!
Go with the Metra CHTO-01. Unlike the PAC products the Metra has 4 preamps, which allows you to keep the ability to fade.
