Help with custom enclosure

A couple of weeks ago I bought two enclosures off of another forum member who claimed he bought them new from AON. When I got them they were covered in a beige vinyl. I test fit them and they both didn't fit well at all. So I thought maybe if I took the vinyl off it would help.

Here's what I got:

Now... from what I can tell AON has a pretty good reputation. And I've never seen any of his enclosures that were ported like these seem to be. But the product I have doesn't seem to be a good quality at all.

So either the forum member that sold them to me lied about where they came from or I'm disappointed in AON.

those arent AON.... no way, evey one ive seen fits MUCH better than that!

yeah the front part in the 1st pic it doesent even fit !!! I would be not be happy!

wow i remember these.that was the member from nyc who sold u those.i remember me telling him i was going to buy those.but he never answered me.lucky i didnt buy them!!!good luck with those homie!!!

Yeah they look home made. The hole looks like a small speaker hole not a port. Tell you what if you can get them to me Ill work on them and clean them up. Plus it will give me a chance to look them over so I can make my own.
Just needs some sanding and some fiberglass work and it will look so much better.

The guy that sold them to me is insisting they are from AON. Plus he refuses to give me my money back stating that I bought them as is. I disagree since he never stated that they had any fit issues or that they had the smaller hole in the front.

ive posted the paypal reciept for you all could see it is indeed aon enclosure you could qive him call at the number on his site that ive alreadii provided for the buyer. its not like i purposely scamm'd you or something im not hiding or nothin yet you open a paypal dispute ?
