one of the best songs ever... the story behind the song is crazy also. But never heard a bass mix of it.

From what i remember from back in the day when it came out was that he saw one of his best friends drown or something like that.... think they were out on a boat or something.....
They had an interview with Phil Collins on a show on VH1 about myths about songs, turns out the drowning thing isnt true. Collins actually wrote the song about the anger he felt after divorcing his first wife Andrea in 1979. He was so devastated that he left Genesis for a short time.
Besides the way I always heard the story was that phil as a kid saw someone watch someone else drown and he didn't help, then at a concert Phil saw him again.....which doesn't make any sense because if you saw someone watch someone else drown and not help them....you didn't help them either!
Out of the youtube videos posted...which version is the one being sought after? I can slow down a song but I don't want to just slow down the actual version.
