I am heading down to San Diego to pick up some audio equipment from ffimo and need some advice on hooking it up. I have installed headunits and amps before, but there has always been a rca out. What do I need to do to hook the amp up with the stock head unit. I have the Boston premium sound package with the single disk headunit with aux output on the front. What wire do I need to tap into? How do I hook up a line out converter?
Here's a thread on LX on how to get the amp and sub to work with your set-up.
And yes the Z1 will be alot easier to connect these goodies to seeing it has a seperate RCA SUB WOOFER out built into it....I'm thinking of upgrading my Eclipse AVN-5435 to the Pioneer Z1 pretty soon myself....Gotta love the storage capabilities of that Z1
wait does this mean we will have a few mags rolling in Diego sounds like a little meet...........
Let me make some calls. I can pick up about 6 more magnums (seeing it's such a short notice) just from here in SD if you want to do a lil something....
