novice installer in need of guidance
Hey im new to the world of audio installation and i was hoping someone could clarify a few things for me. Im installing a sub and amp to my factory 4 speaker system using the factory headunit. I was wondering since my amp has speaker level inputs did i need a line level converter. If anyone could possibly give me a rundown on how to do this install i appreciate the help.

I used a line converter jumped off my two rear speakers works great my amp only has low level inputs (RCA) but if your amp has high level inputs you shouldn't need that you can just jump strait of the back speakers to the amp.

Where about in Baton Rouge..I'm about 5 blocks from the river center. Do you ever go to BWW on Thursdays. There are some ricers but lately there have been some chargers and like 2 magnums coming. One is a 16 year old in a super bee with 24s. I get angry every time i see him.

whats happenin loiusianaMag! If you have the regular 4 speaker system, you can just tap into the rear 6x9's.I just hooked up my subs to my factory system and it sounds great. I forget which wires were positive and which were negative but i can look them up if you need me to!
