sup everyone... im a newbie to the board & have been looking for the last few days for an easy way for my tech to install a double-din tv in my magnum (dont have the nav now) & really dont want to have to cut. ive seen a couple people with what looks like a 'double din kit', but have no idea where to buy one...& have heard to just buy the nav bezel...but isn't the opening in the bezel larger than a 6.5 or 7" 2-din tv??
im stuck. so quick questions: if i just buy the nav bezel is it as easy as changing it & installing the tv? if not, what else is necessary? also, if there is a kit, that allows a double-din install please put any links to buy, or good info to links in your posts.
I PM'd you back with the kit info..Just buy the Nav bezel and use the kit I linked you to, and yours will look like mine.
Lowrider said it right, just buy the Nav Bezel (should run about $75 or so) and then get the kit. It will give you the factory look and there's no need to cut anything. Here's a pic of mine.

Hey 05HEMIMAGNUM. I was wondering what model of Pioneer stereo that you got for your Mag. I don't have the stock navigation system in my SXT but I do have two headrest DVD screens fed by a DVD player in the armrest. The car came like that from the Dealer (new), but it's obviously aftermarket (dealer installed) and not quite as nice and an "in dash install". I was considering getting the Pioneer AVIC-D3 with GPS+Navigation DVD, but it's a double din and I was wondering if it would fit OK. Would getting the factory navigation bezel do the trick? I guess I'd have to get some adapter as well?
U guys are great i just bought an SXT a few weeks ago and Im getting ready to tackle this issue myself i have a kenwood ddx-6019 that i took out of my old car and want to install in the new one. where can i buy the nav bezel and whatever else i need to hook this thing up.
