Awsome job jamminwagon, bean to you for stickin it to the man and DIY!!!! I'd put $100 bucks on it that you did a better job than the shop would have.
The textured paint was the savior, I didnt have to super smooth it. The fun part was sanding the stock texture(lil pryamids) off of all of it. I wasnt sure if the textured paint would cover over them. With the 2 coats, I think I could have saved about an hour of sanding haha.
Go for it, just take your time. Took me 3 days to do it. Make sure that the filler is completely dried, otherwise it will crack. I used textured spray paint made for plastic, this way it it hid the fine inperfections.
