engine whine

i have alot of engine whine coming from my speakers i ran the rca on the oppostie side of the car then the power and ground wire have yall had any of these problems? i have a 4 ch infinity amp. and infinity components with a pioneer avic d1 please help if you have this problem it is annoying.

One thing to try is running a common ground from the HU to the amp. It does not have to huge guage wires. What you are doing is making a common signal ground. Of course you want to make sure that your power grounds are good.

Make sure your amp is grounded to a solid paint free area. If you have paint on your ground point it can cause a whine. Also if you have rcas that screw to get tighter or looser make sure they are screwed in all the way if they are loose it can also cause a whine.
