FEELER....interest in my VES?

I purchased the VES system earlier this year not knowing whether or not it worked. Well, it powers on, and has a picture, however the dvd drive does not read anything, and it keeps making a sound like it's trying to load/eject a disc even without a disc inside it. It is also missing a couple small trim pieces, and a button or two that look like they got too hot.
I found a replacement setup for a decent price, so I am just looking to see if anybody may have interest in my VES system for parts, or maybe they are more handy than me as to getting it to read discs. All that will come is just the armrest lid with the dvd player and screen. No power supply harness from the VES to the radio harness, or the inside console pedestal mount thing.
If anybody is interested please just send me offers or whatever. If I can't get this sold, there's not much any reason for me to buy a replacement one and have this thing laying around.
