2-12" drop down screens

Before I deployed, I bought a DVD player for the kids. You know the kind, the one where the screens hang on the headrests. It was kinda cool(for the kids-one boy, one girl) because each could watch a separate movie or the same, usually separate. Well, not too long ago, it stopped working. Probably from being kicked around so much. I never had it mounted. I told my wife that I had planned on installing one with the screens in the headrest that did the same thing, play two different movies. So she went to CarToys Inc. in Tacoma, Washington, where we live and asked about it. Well, they said they had headrests with the screens installed already, but they were leather. I have cloth seats. They also said my headrests were too small to install new screens which I knew was bull because I've seen it before. The idea of two 12" drop down screens just makes me cream. I've seen it before in a cadillac and thought "I want that!". On top of that, of course, the head unit with a screen is a must too. My wife thinks its a great idea. Oh, did I mention I have a great wife. Anyways, just thought I'd share that with you guys.

Im sure shes great wife my freind .but back to the sreen make sure that the screen its away from your head. I had a 15" in a maxima 95. Bang my head a lot of times getting in the car when the screen was open . And when it comes to look thru your backview mirror its imposible specially if ur use to it.But it looks awesome.

That is a better idea of putting one on each side. I have a 16.1" drop down in mine. Putting one on each side, will still give you a lot of use of your rear view mirror.

Just make sure that with as big as the screens are that the seat headrests won't interfere with them opening all the way.

NVRDUN is an unknown quantity at this point
I ordered two headrest with built in DVD and wireless headphones. I then had them re-upholstered in matching material. In my case leather. Total cost for two headrest, with 7" screen, DVD, wireless headphones and custom mathced was less than $450. I struggled with the drop down, but now if I ever trade in the Mag, I can keep the headrest and just have them re-covered again.

I'm still struggling with the idea. Everyone has screens in the headrest or one drop down. Justrying to do one better. Now what would be cool for shows is one big screen jusabove the back glass that everyone could see when the hatch is open$$$$

I have 10 monitors total to include one on the rear hatch. Pic is kinda outdated as I gutted the TV of the rear piece and speakers to make it sit flat on the rear hatch piece.
