ipod won't work with stock :(

I wanted to hook up an ipod to my stock radio but this one particular audio store said that the stock radio doesn't have an out to plug in a connector for a ipod. That SUX!!!!!!

im sure you can buy some sort of adapter but in the long run you would be better off just ditching that stock head unit

I traded in my SXT with a 6 cd/mp3 player for an R/T with a single cd player and was pleasantly surprised that the single cd player has an 1/8" input/aux for an ipod.

Although, I guess trading in a car is the expensive way to get an ipod connection, lol...

I have a stock head unit, single disc with the aux input just chillin in the garage. If someone is interested.

Mopar (and other companies) makes a plug in adapter that allows you to use the factory radio and steering wheel buttons to operate your Ipod.

would that work for my ride? is it the same connectors that you know of as the 05's?

^^ That's the one I just picked up. Still waiting for it to show up today or tomarrow. I looked on and off on Ebay for that last 3 months and finally got one at a good price, $87. Couldn't get myself to spent $200 for it. Waited and waited. I can let you know in a few days how it works.
