Haven't used this particular one, but did use a Kenwood TV Tuner. The picture was average in terms of quality...sound was always good. But with the digital t.v. conversion coming Feb. 17, 2009, I'm sure that the quality will be better.
Yeah, I've got a TV tuner in my setup. Realized after I added it that it's pretty much like carrying a TV around with you in that not all signals are created equal. Sometimes you'll get a picture, sometimes you won't. Usually if you do get a picture it's not as good as you would like. I would recommend spending the money elsewhere.
Got a tuner built into my setup... picked up an antenna but really havent persued it because of the new signal thing.. Im expectin there will be some type of conversion for it but the only reason I even considered goin any further was to be able to see the Steeler games if I aint home.... I may hook it anyway to see but not the top of my list. Mostly use mine for the DVD feature and the music and since Im in the photo business...sometimes to show some pictures.
