I have had Verizon, Sprint, and at&t phones in the last 2 years. Uconnect works flawless with Verizon and Sprint. When I make calls my at&t Blackjack 2 does not transfer the call until the person picks up. Also it does not show caller ID, Signal sregth, Battery life, etc. I have had the same issue with (3) other at&t/Cingular phones.
That sucks.....odd. too, but it shouldn't have anything to do with the provider. Only the phone. It's a bluetooth issue. I've heard of several issues with the blackjack. I have the iphone, and the bluetooth on it is absolute crap, but my razr, and my wife's motorola worked fine. And we are cingular/At&T......
you can install on the Blackjack 2 (I think, not sure if it is supported yet) that will fix those Bluetooth issues (at least it did on my 8125 and my 8525)
I know this is hard to follow, but I'll try to make it as clear as possible.
I had a BJ W/WM6 and had the delay issue. I now have a BJ 2 w/ WM6 and still have it... I had a Sprint Moto Q prior to my BJ and didn't have the issue. I have had a Treo 650 on both Sprint and Cingular. The Sprint Treo, no issues. The Cingular Treo, same issues as both BJ. (These are all work phones, so don't get the wrong idea).
I have also had Razors on both Verizon and Cingular. The Verizon has no issues, and the Cingular had issues....
I know this is hard to follow, but I'll try to make it as clear as possible.
No need to be rude man, we're just trying to help. Both of my motorola's were unlocked, which means that it will work with most major provider cell phoens including At&t sims, but all of the software and functionality is open for use. If it is possible maybe you can get your current phone unlocked.....might be worth looking into.
I would really like to help on this one but I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I have been looking for a new rotary phone for my car. You know something in the 5-8 pounds and maybe a nice yellow color LOL
My bad, may just be the way i read it too...so no harm no foul right. I wish I know why AT&T was causing you grief, but I'm willing to bet it has something to do with the software locks. Again the unlocked thing is all I can think of. You might do a search for unlocking the blackjack, and see if it works.
