wood - solid enclosure if built with the right material just cant get crazy designs and you need to use carpet on the outside to look good

fiberglass - can make crazy designs that sound good maybe harder to figure out volume can be painted or covered in many types of cloth or carpet

metal - might be heavy never heard or sen one though so cant help you on it

My opinion,
And it's just an opinion because I've never seem or heard of it. But I would stay away from aluminum, it is a conductor of electricity and I think it might be a little heavier then wood or glass, unless you could machine away some of it I'd stick with wood....

Stray away from aluminum. Think about aluminum hulled boats. The sound of a wake hitting it and the thud/ reverb it emits is not something you would like with a sound system. Aluminum boxes are HEAVY as well. I would go with wood or fiberglass. Just my opinion though.

what about the conductor part, you put a seal under the surround of the sub when installing it, and if everything is done properly what would be the problem. the amps are not getting mounted to it. my brother in law is making it for me to try, and with the aluminum its solid and not that heavy.

What exactly does poo sound like? You must have special poo, my poo is pretty silent. Unless you factor in all the "beans"!!!!!
