lifesaver5212 is just warmin' up!
New wiring

How did you you run your new wire for the front door speakers, more specifically, how did you get the wire from the door to just inside the car? I've looked at the driver side and it looks like it's gonna be a b**ch. Did you run it w/ the existing wires? If so, what all is involved w/ getting them through? It seem to me it's nearly impossible without removing the vast majority of the dash.

These new cars are made entirely too tight! What happened to the good-ole-days when it took an 2 hours to install a complete system in your car?

here is the write up I did for removing the door panel. Should have called it door speaker re-wiring. It is a pain and time consuming. hardest part was running the wires through the door boot on the drivers side. The parking brake blocks 90% of the hole. Real simple to to unbolt it. You dont have to mess with the cable it loosens up as a unit.

stock wire is plenty for any speaker that will fit in the door just remember big wire isn't always the best bet
