Cheapest Amp Rack/Sub box cover ever!!!

CARDBOARD hahahahah

WTH? pic isnt showing up

I have been trying to figure out what to use to cover the amp rack and sub box. I have gotten tired of black carpeting.

Found the perfect covering it's a aluminum looking laminate the had like scrolling flames in it at a home improvement center. When to have the call to see how much a 1/2 sheet was, found out that they no longer make it.

So back to the drawing board! Thought about the bed liner, but same as the black rug. Which leaves out black vinyl. Everything blends in too much.

After seeing "customtronics" install, think I will go with the matching vinyl to the rear plastic.

Since the amprack and the sub box are 2 section and I dont like the look of seams, i'm going to use the pegboard then wrap it with the vinyl. Then lay it on top. Heck I even saw 1/4" oak laminated paneling. I might make different panels when I get tired of one haha.

Which leads to the cardboard template. After seeing it sitting there, I thought wow cheap mod haha. Sorry, just in a goofy mood.

Oh yeah, I recut the top panel of the sub box and made it a sealed box now. I have given on SPL competing, did my 136db (140 in the ported comp box about 3 revesions ago haha) on the ported setup and might see for the heck of it what the sealed will do. Plus I got tired of kids putting stuff in the port at the shows I used to go to.
