UConnect
I've been trying (to no avail) to find out where and how the OEM UConnect is installed into my magnum. I know it's just a big computer program and I'd like to learn more about it and mod it, but can't seem to find any information.
Does anyone know anything about how it works, where I can find information on how it works or how I might "re-install" it or set it back to factory specs, should something ever happen to it? |

Yeah. In my car it was OEM so it's in the mirror and it's also integrated into the nav system because commands show up on the screen and of course the call shows up on the screen when incoming (I haven't had the luxury of doing this...but it's what the manual for the nav system says).
I could take a guess and say that it's part of the nav disc, but I'm not sure and I was looking to find out if anyone else knew anything (just kinda gathering information). I'd like to decompile the programming of the system and reprogram it so I can connect it to a DB of voice commands instead of it using the standard ones. I'd like to enhance the functionality of it to extend beyond "just the phone". |
