The car will be entered into a lot of comps, I also do this as kinda my business so this is like a little demo of what we can do...
Plus as far as my hearing goes, I have been doing this for years and havent notice a change in them... I really dont like loud highs, the only time they come up is when I am demoing or at a show..... as far as bass goes, I am a bass head til I die...

Maybe I am just kind of jealous? haha. . . It makes a lot more sense knowing you will be entering comps and having the install used as a demo for your business. I think you will get your skills across well since it is looking good.
I agre with the bass man . . . I am a bassist and I guess i understand the power thing, you don't need it but it is always good to have it just incase. . . I am rocking 2 x 18" woofers and 8 x 10" drivers for my stage rig which can put out 3000w RMS if I like. . . but that is for large gyms and outdoor stages and such.
Anyway no hard feelings I was just curious because I see people all the time running 2000+watta worth of subs and I think I can blow my hearing with my 600w subs so I was wondering what the point is to excessivley exceed the human threshold of pain haha.
Keep up the good work though, I am interested in seeing the final product!
DAYUM!
You doin anything with the rear doors or the hatch?
Nah, dont have the time or funds.... Plus the bass will make anything I put on the hatch fall

Man I do live sound also, There is a huge difference from pro sound to car audio... I always joked a around with my last truck that I had more power then any baseball field and most concerts (~10,000w rms)
Just a little update, haven't been so good, suffered from 2 heat strokes while doing other peoples installs, so have kinda been under the weather, but I play on getting back on track tomorrow still have my date of the 31st for being done....
