I was wondering if anyone had any answers on powering amplifers and subwoofers. I currently am running a Hifonics XX-Colossus amp rated at 3200 RMS/6400 max and I had a Hifonics Goliath XX-3215 sub until I blew 3 of the 4 voice coils on it after having it for 3 weeks. I had it professionally hooked up at a Hifonics dealer and was told that my amp was starving for power BADLY. I upgraded the Big 3 and installed a Kinetik 1800 battery and it did not help at all. I have been to numerous audio stores and have been told that the best and maybe only way to supply more power in a Magnum is by adding a SECOND alternator setup since it is all controlled and regulated through the computer. I have called around and I had no luck finding the high output police alternator let alone one that puts out 200-275 amps. I plan on adding a 4 channel amp to install 16 speakers in the car but have been delayed due to the lack of power. Please help! Thanks!

Im guessing it will help for the reserve but I dont think that the alternator, being controlled through the computer, would be able to charge all these batteries when putting out only 100 amps. Im still looking into this alot though!
