GTS Slim Design Window Ventguard problems/issues
Well folks, got my CF head and taillights along with the vent guards. other than some fitment issues, I love the headlight covers, can't use the taillights bcuz my tails are already tinted so may just keep em for later or sale/trade them for something. As for the ventguards gosh really wanted this mod to work, but it is not working the way I want. It seems that when i auto roll the windows up, they automatically come back down when they reach the ventguard. and when I roll them up and keep my finger on the button, they go to the vent guard then roll down about an inch below the ventguard by them selves....I am thinking it is a safety feature so that one doesn't get his/her fingers, neck, tongue, wonker wonker stuck in the window when it rolls up. So this really sucks...
Erik is looking into this for me, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem. |

Sorry to hear of your problem... I'm hoping to get a set of these in the near future. Wish I could help you out tho...but never heard of the windows doing this. Makes you wonder if it is a safety feature...but I'm defiantly not trying it out LOL
keep us updated please ! |

I tried closing the window without using the auto up feature and all that happened was the window came in contact with the ventguard and while still holding the button in the up position, it automatically came down on its own about an inch below the ventguard.

Other option is to get ventvisors that stick on the outside, so that way it won't interfere with your windows.
Won't look as clean as the in-channel type, but at least it will work fine, and since your car is black you won't really notice it's taped outside. (smoke ventvisors on black door frame will match well) |

I know this is going to sound dumb but do you have them in place right? I had an issue with the windows not closing all the way up but little did I know I had them in the wrong slot. I think also your suppose to keep your windows rolled up with the ventguards in place for 24hrs that way the window can get use to it I guess. Hope your issue gets resolved MOE.

^^^triple that, I had the exact same issue, disreagerd what the instructions say, put them in the weather strip, close them up, and do it slow at the top, let them sit for a day or two, preferably in the heat and you are good to go.
