I use the Rain-X blades and I love them. I had used the Rain-X yellow washer fluid for years and loved it too; now I use both. The difference it makes in the rain is unreal! And where I am (Vancouver), rain is what we get lots of.

Funny THIS thread should come out ~ out in my garage I just found a set of "winter type" wiper blades = these are completely covered in vinyl to keep snow and ICE out of the blades them selves. They are still in the package new. Actually forgot I had 'em hangin' in the garage ~ LOL~

That's what I was going to recommend, I used them in the Chicago winters and they are GREAT!

i used to use rain-x washer fluid, until i noticed that it would eat into my paint....you can see a faint discolouration in the shape of a spray pattern coming from the nozzles on the hood.....fortunately though i think because i have a decent amount of wax buildup it didn't actually penetrate into my paint, but just the wax layer itself. regardless though, i stopped using it.

i just rainx my window a couple times a summer and hardly every have to use my wipers... only time i use them is when going slow in a drizzel, then it doesn't sheet off quite right, but as long as going 30mph or better no rain can stick to my glass!
