So, for the past month, I've been hearing a "knocking" everytime my car hit a bump in the road or while rolling over a speed-bump. It has gotten worse to the point where just driving, I would hear, and feel it. My steering was sloppy and my "stealership" wanted $430+ to change out the tie rods! No thanks, but good thing MoparPartsAmerica exists, cuz I ordered some new tie rods ($99 total shipped) and installed them myself (FREE)! Turned out great and now the steering is tight and no more knocking.

I know that for many of us, this might be our first car that we want to mess with.
I also know that some of us may have never twisted a wrench before and are maybe embarassed to ask the simple questions.
I hope that this helps get some started down the path of grease...

    Oil change. 2008 Magnum STX
Here are the tools that you will need.

I used a socket wrench, a 10mm socket and a 13mm socket. Using the extension makes taking the mud plates off a bit easier. Notice that there is no oil filter wrench. My existing one was too small so, a pair of gloves and good old fashioned forearm muscle took care of it however, I suggest using one.

I recently came across this thread- http://www.custommagnums.com/forums/...all-cmers.html which gave me the motivation to go take care of this on my car. I didn't see any write ups on it so here we go... It's also on my site at Throttle Body

27 thousand miles- time to clean the Throttle Body.
