great job... I will say that imo your complaints of grinding welds would reduce strength but this is only a intake so maybe it wouldn't be a big deal

^ that is a fair assessment, I am just very picky when it comes to quality haha
On the BB the welds are no big deal, like you said it might reduce strength to grind them down and it would also increase retail price to do that. Considering they are not visible once the intake is installed it is not really an issue as stated above.
The Air Hammer is another story since they are indeed visible but they cleaned them up on the production units.
i think you stated that the bb was a rubber boot. Im pretty sure that chris told me they were a silicone, not sure if it matters but you might check and clarify for accuracy.
still very impressed with the whole study man!

^ Thanks GK, at least it shows you actually read it! haha I guess I might not be %100 with my material terms because it is kind of hard to decipher silicone, rubber, silicone-rubber composite from one another haha I didn't think it would be a huge issue but I have no problem editing my original post as things are brought to my attention. . . silicone it is.
nice work!! you put in a lot of effort on this. thanx. when i had my honda, i was all about the ebay specials. but now that i have a car that i really love, i can bring myself to cheap out.
however, all i have done to my intake so far is remove the silencer... which is obviously cheaper then ebay. ha.
Awesome job. You deserve a bean for your work.
