Exterior StylingGrills, Body Kits and other accessories
Bay Area Magnum came through for me and shipped me his old grille. It was my first exterior mod, and was very easy to do. I even managed to install the lower grilles without having to pull the fascia away.

please ignore the bug splats, it's summer in Iowa....
I just got my new grill!!! It's sitting in the box in my spare room!! I looked at the directions and as soon as it said, "REMOVE the front valance", I said, ya sure, maybe next spring!!! UGGG! PUNCHIE, come on OVER!! I need help! It's easy, just take I380 to Waterloo, then 218 to I-35N, thru the twin cities, I-94 west, I-29N, cross the border, stay on Hwy75 for 1 hour, and you will be in my front yard! Me and my grill will be waiting!
How come my instructions say I have to remove my VALANCE?? I'm stunned, I know.....Does this mean I have to remove the entire front bumper, is that what valance means???? Mine is not the same as above, but close enough I think? Not high jacking your thread here, just asking. Looks like you had no problem, and did it in the driveway....
I agree, paint the stock grill black...............
Bob
Painting the stock grille would add an element of permanence that I'm not entirely comfortable with right now. Heck, I jumped in on these grilles because all they did was attach over the top of the stock. I'm a wimp and easing myself into the mods one pinky toe at a time.
