Cost of repainting a door?

Well, pulled my moldings this weekend and found 1 door was severely messed up, it had been repainted with the molding on it, I tried to do some wet sanding to remove the ridge from the new paint, it turned out okay, but the color difference from under the molding combined with the slightly hazy appearance of my sanding is bugging the hell out of me.

I might toss the molding back on, but then it will still be a little cloudy around it.

As i said, it's not bad, but i'm not happy with it.

Anyone know what it'd cost to get a single door repainted? Maybe they can just do some buffing? I'm not too sure what would NEED to be done, and I don't have any pictures of it at the moment.

Maybe? I'm not sure, never done it nor had it done.

In the past the only paint repair I've done is wet sanding with up to 2000 grit on my jeep, turned out aite in that case....but it wasn't as much of a severe repair as this was.

Oh well, never know until you try, eh?

That's true, I don't think taking a claybar to it will make it any worse...

claybar won't make it worse, but you proub. need to cut and polish the area with a d.r. then clay, wax, buff it all out
