Experimenting with PhotoShopped 2-tone
Ok... I'm NOT very good with my Limited Edition (5) Photoshop, but I'd like any, and all opinions on the following two schemes. These are just ideas... nothing planned for a long time due to costs.
Update: Check Post#35 (instead of #30) for updated and demolded pictures, a 3rd option and frontal views of the options... This is the CURRENT LOOK of my MSRT8 as it is (except the eyelids aren't present)... ![]() And this is the first of two 2-tone schemes... top only... but with the pin stripe... I call this Option 1a. And top and bottom without the pin stripe... This is Option 2a So there it is... let me have it... Last edited by GoofyTimL; 09-03-2008 at 07:41 PM.. |

I'd have to go against the grain and say the first. The 2nd IMO makes the lower 1/2 look like an unpainted bodykit.
Yeah that kinda 2-tone is common, but with just a straight line. My idea is to keep the general line, but make the line barb wire, or subtle flames. It's doing something the same, but in a different way. |

I suppose going with #2 I would have to demold the sides as well... don't really like the way the color angles up into the end of the molding...
