2.7L Engine Cover, Signup if Interested

Hi All,

We will be looking into molding a cover for the 2.7L LX vehicles. I will be keeping a tally of everyone interested and committed to buying one. Please email me at ryan@aecarbon.com

Big Daddy J on LXforums has volunteered his time and vehicle to make this happen and we need a group of committed people before we can make this part so we dont waste time and money and have people back out.

The product is not made yet so please dont ask for pictures; nor will it be made until we can justify the costs

but pioneering in a presently vacant market will require a shot in the dark if you may.

This cover will look a lot like the 3.5L cover which is set to be unveiled this weekend along with the radiator cover. The projected price would probably be in the ballpark of $300 for fiberglass and $500 for carbon fiber, as these are very curvy covers. There would probably be a half down up front deposit required. Please let me know so we can make this happen.

not many hits Im kind of surprised everyone always says they want one.... I cant 100% commit on a 500 dollar item without a visual... last thing i want to be is the proud owner on a 500 dollar turd cover... I know you guys do great work but reality is reality

Once you guys see the 3.5 cover you will want to make a 2.7 cover I can guarantee that !!!!!!!

What I like about this..... We have a vendor willing to step up and create some sweet things for the 2.7 something you dont see..AT ALL!! this could open the door if other vendors see some success with the 2.7 goodies.....my .02

For a quality visual mod, I think this will really bring a top notch mod to both the 2.7 and 3.5 cars.

I cant tell you how long I have been asking other vendors to step up and make something for us and they all but ignore my request. Now as both a vendor and a V6 owner...I am very excited.

Uhhm, PattyWagon...you have a 3.5L its kind of assumed you wouldnt want one for a 2.7....but here ya go...
