Paint....
Ok, So I don't care for the Black with Green strips paint job the previous owner put on the car. The car was originally a grey silver color. They did a good job getting inside the doors, under the hood, and everywhere that can be seen. Thus making it more expensive for me to have changed.
I see alot of you have paint jobs from one end of the spectrum to the other. I'm wanting to know what a good paint job (sand down to nothing, prime, paint, and shine) will cost. I might go back with strips or just a solid color. I wold love the flames from the front in a cream pearl on an artic white. But will probably go with 2 tone, solid, or strips. Thanks guys |

4K and UP. If you are going to do it, I would suggest taking the time to talk with Ernie and 402Motoring. I am a little biased but his work is off the hook. He is a perfectionist and will not let you leave if you find a single thing wrong when he is done.

I will get some better pictures of some problem areas. But the bumper is peelling and you can see some places where they painted over the dirt specks. There is no clear coat and there are a couple decent dents in it. (rear door and hatch). I guess I would like it better if it were to shine.
I looks like they took the silver car and (in the driveway) painted it solid black with red wine strips (which they didn't like) then put the green strips over those. So the car has a lot of added weight from Just paint. |

I'm not big on the stripes but i'm tired of my own...
I would work around the base color the cost of redoing the door jambs etc will push the cost up. I say repaint the exterior bottom black to freshen it up and add your top color for a sweet duo tone.. or flames ... |
