REplacing the back taillights is fairly simple. Open up you rear door. Look behind where you tailight should be, you will see a little panel right there, Simply pinch it together to remove it. Behind there you will find a wing nut, un-screw tthat, the i cant remeber the exact location off hand, but right in there will also be a push pin type thing, just pop that out and the light should be able to pull straight out. So to sum it up each taillight has a total of (2) things to remove per light (1) wing nut (1) push pin.

Side note: i paid a paint shop 50$ bucks and the painted my tailights black for the smoked out look instead of buying new one. The hardest part of this job is just figuring out what kind of tailights you want. If this is to confusing and still need help, let me know and ill go take some quik pics, and get em up here for yeah.

I'm putting in LED tail lights. I'm also getting a vertical grill and angel eye headlights. I'll post pics when complete.

There are two plastic push in pins on the inner side of the taillight. They are not inside the panel with the wing nut. There is also a locator pin, but once the two pins and the wing nut are removed, the taillight is easy to pull out.

WORD OF CAUTION WHEN REMOVING WING NUTS !!!!!
I did the L.E.D. smoked tail lights on my Mag. They look super cool. BUT ...... be careful NOT TO DROP THE WING NUTS when your removing your OEM lights. Take it from me, if you drop them into the hole where they sit, you will never get them out. The same goes for when your putting them back on. Unless you have hands the size of an 8 year old, its a tight fit to get your hand in the opening. So be careful. New wing nuts cost around 5 bucks a piece.

I'll second that on dropping the nuts into the bottomless pit, I am 6'8" and i never had small hands, and once you drop them they will rattle with a any kind of stereo you put in there. after dropping 2 sets i had my wife start them for me, be careful not to over tighten and pull the bolts out of the tail lights.

Does anyone know where to get additional plastic nuts that hold the lamps into place. As I was removing my tail lights I found that one of the nuts was broken. It pretty much holds things in place but won't last forever and I would like to get it replaced before it comes off completely.

Thanks,

Go back to the dealership, i think they are $3 a piece, i was thinking of using metal coarse thread bolts on my tails, the plastic ones tend to rattle loose with alot of bass.
