Confused about HID's...

I just got my HID sets from lighting623 today. Looking through the box I noticed the H10 set has a different standard plug from the 9006.

9006 on the left and H10 on the right

For the 9006 do I need that end part with that cylindrical piece? ( I'm thinking thats the piece that keeps it from flickering but I'm not sure ).

Thanks to anyone who has installed this kit and can answer my question.

Yes that will keep your lights from flickering. Why do you have h10? I use 9006 and 9005 for fogs

H10 is the factory spec (9145)

but 9005 fits also and is more common so we all use it.

Itz all good, that cylinder lookin thing iz the capicitor they add so it wont flicker on yer lo-beamz(9006) and the application for yer fog lightz(9145-H10-9005 all fit) does not need a capacitor!!!!!

That's the built-in capacitor (one on each) that prevents flickering.
HID flickering fix.

TIP: those HID bulbs can be a PITA to put in, if they don't wanna turn, get a Q-tip, put a drop of WD40 oil on it and slightly oil the rubber base of the light bulb so that when you put it in it will turn easily.

Yes I got H10 HID's because the factory bulb was H10. Thats the only reason I got H10.
