First part of face lift

started on the first part of my face lift which consists of lower grilles and painting the cross bars black...Also i decided to swap out those crappy push clips with the old metal clips and screws what a difference that makes the front end just seems tight now......

sweet clips and screws for that nice tight feel!

Waiting for paint to dry..

installing badges and grilles

all back together waiting on the other parts.....

Dang man. Sure do hate the plastic push junks so its nice to see them gone! Lookin amazing!!!

Nice work...Looks good. Too bad you couldn't make it today, but it's all good, we WILL have more..

Side Note: Maybe you can come down and look at mine and give me suggestions to tighten up my front end.

I like the black cross bars and the skull & cross bones....I added bolts to my front end after i took it off a few time, it does seem much tighter and have less noise from the front end...

Looks great. What type of paint did you use? Did you clear it too?

Thanks for the props!!

I used Krylon plastic paint seems to work good used it on my rocker panels and a few parts inside...

Its nice not having the push pin things i changed out the plastic pop rivets on one side in the back and its such a big difference...I need to get more clips my brother works at a shop and they use them instead of replacing the plastic crap.....

Anyway more pics to come next week after I get the top grille...
