Well, with the up comming purchase of a new ram air hood, paint and installation, I'm not going to be able to put new rims on her, so I had an idea to change the look of the stock rims. I'm going to paint the inside of the rectangles in the spokes black. I photo shopped an image to show the rear wheel after the mod, and the front wheel remaining stock. What do you guys think?
thanks, while I'm at it, I may put in the wheel well mod I've always wanted.
Picture this, neon ground lights, installed behind the tire, in the back of the wheel well, then wired to a momentary on switch located under the gas pedal, or at full throttle on the linkage for the FI. So when you are at full throttle, the wheel wells glow. I'm thinking traditional purple, like a black light maybe, or red.
You are driving down the road and floor it, everyone outside sees your wheel wells light up as they hear the throaty roar of your pipes....
That's the beauty of moddin'....it's all about creativity and originality! Not really my taste as I'm more of a muscle car look kinda guy, but hey with all the smoke and mirrors nobody will see me blowing by
