Woody maybe?

I was wondering what a retro woody Magnum might look like.... so out with the photoshop... I'm not too sure about it, but it kinda looks like it might work.

For a woody look, it's not that bad... but you have to love the woody look.

I don't mind the negative comments, but some reasoning would be nice, these are forums after all, to discuss things, mull them over, chew em up and spit them out. Even if it's just to

That does look awful, this doesn't..... which is what I was shooting for, as you can see by comparing.

I think it will be ok. Just needs to be done right. I have always liked the older woodies, because of the work that needs to be done to shape the wood. Since I am sure you are prob going to have it painted on, it needs to looks as real as possible. I think I am pretty good with photoshop, so I can draft one up and can post for ya

I've only seen a handful of modern vehicles that actually looked good with the wood treatment. A couple of PT Cruisers with good Woodie kits and other that didn't look so good do to poor fit and quality of the parts.
This Ford Explorer that was at the LA auto show and SEMA in 2001 that was black with real birch wood, it looked awesome in person. It had the retro cool theme, but with a modern flare...

Woody treatment on a Magnum, it could be pulled off with good planning and design......maybe..but I would drop the skirts for sure...
