I want to add some lighting to the rear end.... I want to put them across the tail gate bottom part.... but I need a connection. I want the connection to supply power when the parking lights are on..... should I tap from the tail lights, the license plate light or fuse box? I dont want to drill .... Any help? or if anyone knows of an article with pictures too...thad be nice.
The wire for the license plate light runs right along the inside of the bumper cover, just pop out those fasteners across the top of the bumper in the area under the closed tailgate, I think there's like 6 of'm. You can then pull the bumper cover toward you, reach in there and find the wire. You could tuck a wire between the seem in the weatherstripping to bring inside.
