hello its on with 2 sided tape i think that many of the early 05s had an issue under the molding the paint was damaged the only repair is to repaint the doors or install new moldings mine was one of the ones with the damage i repainted the car

Well Thank You For That, What Does A New Set Of Molding Cost? I Need To Weigh The Cost Of Removing The Old Ones And If They Are Damaged The Cost Of A New Paint Job.

I think a set of new molding cost around $200. Not sure but I think.... and the best way to take them off is with fishing line and something like goo gone. Try to do it on a hot humid day and they will come off real easy.

Well Pretty Much Every Day Here In Arkansas Is A Hot And Humid Day So That Should Help.
And What Do I Just Grab A Corner And Start Pulling Enough To Put The Fishing Line Behind It Then Just Kinda Pull It Along The Car? Then Go After And Rub The Goo Gone On It And Take The Sticky Stuff Off?
Thanks For The Help All!

pretty much.... It's not tough and as long as you don't get crazy, you shouldn't have to worry about buying new ones if it doesn't work out.

*EDIT* I didn't even use the goo gone, but my thumb was really really sore from rubbing the mounting tape off

Yea the trim is kind of this flexable rubber/plastic. It is kind of floppy if that makes any sense. Yea just take the fishing line and work it along under the molding. Just be careful not to start cutting into the molding itself. If you get carried away with it the fishing line will cut through the molding.
