Pinstriping question
So i've decided to add some red pinstripes to my black magnum. I have heard the you should use clean nail polish on the wrap-arounds (when cut at the door edges) to keep it from unraveling.
Has anyone done this before? |

Should I be concerned about car washes?
I'm going to wait till next saturday (1 week since painting my grille) until I get my car washes. Should I hand wash for a few weeks to make sure it is securely stuck on or should I be fine to go through touchless washes? |

IMO I would say it should be fine. I have never had any issues with this.
I don't know what brand of pinstriping you are using. I have always used standard pinstriping that I got from the local auto parts store (i.e. Kragen, Pepboys). |

Ok great,
I'm using Multistripes by Trimbrite. I got that from Canadian tire (an all purose wal-mart type store here in canada). I'll wait a little while just to make sure, it hasn't been 24hours since applying them so i will wait at least a week. Thanks very much for the help! |

Cujo,
I bought the ones from Advances Auto Parts, and had them on for about 3 months, and no probs what so ever. I took the car through many car washes, and had not peels up. I'll see if I can find a better pic, but this was just recent. ![]() Last edited by Varshaska; 10-08-2007 at 05:37 PM.. |
