    Fly Doors

    So I did the fly door mod to my 2005 and it looks sick. But there HAS to be a betide way to do it. Anyone know whether its a hinge kit or what?

    I know what you're talkin about. You just remove the bolts from the top hinge. It would be sweet to have a kit that allowed the door to open outward like stock and then drop down. I've never seen such a kit tho.

    After watchin the vid, I realize I was mistaken. Remove the bolts from the bottom hinge. 'fam0516' did this mod. Shoot him a PM, he'll let ya know if there's anymore to it. I was gonna do this just for a couple pics, it doesn't seem worth the risk.

    haha. funny.. that video is from my state. ok... so i figured thats what we were talkin about. i remember fam doin it. i have to say its an interesting look... but i dont think its worth possibly causing damage.

    I did mine for a pic, and put back to stock. . If I still had my shop I'd make a hinge myself. I just figs as many hundreds of lxs have it, they couldn't allll be one offs.
