Drivin Lights

Always wondered why Dodge drivin lights were so much.... then I took the plung and grabbed a set from a member over at LX. I mean ... they come with the whole nine... the bezel... the lights.... harness..... dash switch... holy macrol.. no wonder.

Now... my question is.... Do I need a rocket science degree or is this a fairly straight forward install? I looked at the instructions and .... weeelllll it looks like a maybe .... maybe not.... Does the wiring already exist for through the firewall or do I have to fish that through? I dont want to get in the middle of doing the install and have to limp it to the dealer. I understand that the dealer has to activate them when you get done if you do it the OEM way.

The mag model... 05 SE ....... any input on this would be appreciated.

Are you talking about the fog lights? If so the wiring is already there. The kit comes with a new headlight switch plate with the fog light switch. The install is very staight forward but some have had a problem identifing the right place to put the wire in the farward fuse panel area. Did you not get the instuctions? If not pm me I have them scanned.

YOU WILL SEE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER TO GET THE COMPUDER FLASHED. THE DEALER WHANTS 1 HOUR LABOR TO DO IT.. BUT THE CRAZY PART IS THEY WILL DO THE WHOLE INSTALL FOR ONE HOUR LABOR COST. SO I HAD THEM DO THE INSTALL AND NOW I GET THE WARRANTY ALSO BECAUSE THEY INSTALLED THEM.

BUT ANYWAY I PAID $210 FOR THE LIGHT KIT AND THE INSTALL FROM THE DEALER....... THATS JUST MY.02 CENTS. GOOD LUCK WITH THE INSTALL.

an hour! That sucks, mine was a straight forward 34.99 for anything installed needing a starscan flash in.

Wow... the price is all over the board.... I am calling a couple different dealers today and see what they say about the price of the scan... everybodys out for the bengermans, Yeah I know.. my spelling sucks this morning
